Ukrainian army violates ceasefire five times in 24 hours

Donetsk, Dec 18 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire five times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

“Over the past 24 hours, the number of registered violations was five, the number of rounds fired – 43”. Shakhta Trudovskaya, Yakovlevka, Verkhnetoretskoye (South), Leninskoye came under 120 mm mortars, AGS, RPG, SPG fire.

Engineer works accompanied by explosions were reported outside Vodyanoye, Peski and Mayorsk.

In the previous reporting period, two violations of ceasefire and two violations of AM were reported.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
