Ukrainian forces launch massive attack on Gorlovka on Paris summit anniversary



Donetsk, Dec 9 – DAN. Ukrainian army opened mortar fire on the north-west of Gorlovka, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

The shelling targeted the Shakhta 6-7 township approximately at 4.30 p.m. local time, the fire originated from Ukraine-controlled Dzerzhinsk; the total of 18 rounds of 82 mm caliber hit the area.

Soon after, Novaya Tavria came under SPG fire.

The ceasefire was violated for the first time in three days, as the previous shelling incident was reported on December 5.



The Normandy Four summit took place on December 9, 2019. The joint communique released after the meeting previews the Steinmeier’s formula incorporation in the Ukrainian law, coordination of all the aspects of the Donbass special status, securing ceasefire, establishment of new demilitarized zones. *ot
