Ukrainian forces shell Dokuchayevsk, southern DPR with mortars, 152mm artillery

Donetsk, Jun 13 – Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at Dokuchayevsk and southern areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic with mortars and artillery pieces on Thursday morning, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported.

“From 06:00 to 06:40, the JCCC recorded strikes by Ukrainian armed formations positioned in Novotroitskoye and Vodyanoye towards Dokuchayevsk and the Leninskoye village,” the report said.

Twenty 152mm artillery rounds and two 120mm mortar rounds were fired, the JCCC added.

No casualties or damage reports were immediately available.

The DPR People’s Militia earlier reported an increase in Kiev forces’ heavy 152mm artillery strikes at the Republic’s territory.*jk
