Ukrainian forces shell DPR areas on Donetsk, Gorlovka axes eight times over 24 hours – JCCC

Donetsk, Feb 26 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire eight  times over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Monday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire eight times expending 23 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Volvo Centre and the Zhabichevo and Alexandrovka settlements on the Donetsk axis and the Zaitsevo settlement outskirts on the Gorlovka axis, the JCCC said.

The enemy used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire nine times firing some 100 rounds at the DPR territory.*jk
