Ukrainian forces shell two DPR settlements, damage three houses in Gorlovka – JCCC



Donetsk, Aug 6 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire twice over the past 24 hours, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire twice,” Yakubov said.

Fire was delivered at the Colliery 6/7 neighbourhood in Gorlovka and the Sakhanka village in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy used small arms and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces on Monday evening opened fire at the northern part of Gorlovka damaging School No 30 at 73 Chernyakhovskogo Street.



Updated reports said that damage had been caused to the houses at 18 Tushinskaya Street, 1 Starobelskaya Street and 4 Bakha Street.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units fired six rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic.

A new comprehensive, lasting and indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass at 00:01 on July 21. It was agreed at the the Contact Group talks in Minsk on July 17. *jk
