Ukrainian forces violate ceasefire 13 times over past 24 hours, use mortars – JCCC



Donetsk, Jan 28 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 13 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 20 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory,  the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 13 times expending 23 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the areas of Dokuchayevsk and Yelenovka on the Donetsk axis, the Gagarin Colliery and Dolomitnoye areas on the Gorlovka axis and the outskirts of the Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages on the Mariupol axis.

The enemy used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire seven times on the contact line with the DPR.*jk
