Donetsk, Mar 7 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 20 times over the past 24 hours delivering strikes at the Donetsk People’s Republic territiory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 20 times expending 245 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Strikes were delivered at Donetsk, the Volvo Centre area, the Donetsk airport, the Spartak village and the Zhabichevo and Alexandrovka neighbourhoods, Gorlovka, the Dolomitnoye and Gagarin Colliery villages, Yasinovataya and Vasilyevka, Dokuchayevsk and the Sakhanka and Bezymennoye villages in southern DPR.
The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars and high calibre small arms. An updated report said two houses were destroyed and another two were damaged in the northern outskirts of Gorlovka in shelling by Ukrainian forces.
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 17 times firing 80 rounds at DPR areas.*jk
