Ukrainian forces violate ceasefire eight times over 24 hours, fire 71 rounds at DPR – JCCC



Donetsk, Jan 14 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire eight times on the contact line in Donbass over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire eight times expending 71 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Fire was delivered at the Volvo Centre area, the Krasny Partizan, Trudovskaya Colliery and Zhabichevo settlements (Donetsk axis), the Dolomitnoye settlement (Gorlovka axis) and the Sakhanka village (Mariupol axis), the JCCC said.

The enemy used 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. On top of that, Ukrainian sniper fire was recorded. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian servicemen violated the ceasefire once on the Mariupol axis.*jk
