Ukrainian marines mine land next to Gorlovka crossing point road – intelligence



Donetsk, Jun 18 – DAN. Ukrainian servicemen planted more than 400 anti-tank mines on the approach to the Mayorsk crossing point (Gorlovka crossing point in the Donetsk People’s Republic territory), the DPR People’s Militia reported on Thursday.

“According to our intelligence, 35th Separate Marines Brigade gunmen planted 419 TM-62 anti-tank mines in the Mayorsk settlement area, in the field next to Road T0513 leading to Gorlovka,” the report said.

On top of that, our intelligence spotted the planting of new mines in the Kiev-controlled village next to the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka security zone in southern Donbass. The mines were planted in immediate proximity to a public road.

Earlier reports said Kiev forces had mined Road H-15 at the entrance to the occupied Maryinka which accommodates a crossing point leading to Donetsk.

On March 3, 2016, the seucirty subgroup coordinated the Contact Group’s decision on mine-clearance, according to which the parties to the Donbass conflict took the commitments to demine, map out and fence off hazardous sites in the region.*jk
