Donetsk, Jan 16 – DAN. The Contact Group humanitarian subgroup at the meeting in Minsk failed to have a full-fledged discussion over prisoner exchange, the Donetsk People’s Republic Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
“The problems that remain unresolved after the latest prisoner exchange topped the agenda of the humanitarian subgroup,” the Foreign Ministry said. “Regrettably, Mrs (Valeria) Lutkovskaya had failed to turn up for the meeting, so the negotiators had talks as incomplete group.”
Ukraine and the Donbass Republics exchanged prisoners on December 29, 2019. The Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics passed 76 people to Ukraine, and the latter handed over 124 people.
