Ukrainian servicemen shoot at each other in Gnutovo crossing point area

Donetsk, May 30 – DAN. A Ukrainian army’s 79th Brigade serviceman was wounded in a row with his colleagues in the Gnutovo crossing point area in southern Donbass, Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Thursday.

“Pvt Anton Konyash got a gunshot wound at the 79th Air Assault Brigade 2nd Battalion platoon strongpoint in the Gnutovo crossing point area, after he and his colleagues drank alcohol and had a verbal argument which escalated to a fistfight,” Bezsonov said.

The incident occurred after the privates were informed about rotation postponement.

Gnutovo is located near the contact line in southern Donbass. The local crossing point was set up several kilometres from the village between the DPR and Kiev-controlled territory.*jk
