Ukrainian sniper spotted close to Leninskoye – JCCC

Donetsk, Oct 2 – DAN. Sniper fire engaging Leninskoye in southern DPR has been reported by the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC).

“Sniper fire engaging Leninskoye from the direction of Vodyanoye was recorded at 11.25 a.m., small arms were also used.”

On September 22, a DPR service member was injured by sniper fire.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
