Zakharchenko’s father reveals how family will celebrate son’s birthday

Donetsk, Jun 26 – DAN. Parents of the late DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko said that they will celebrate their son’s birthday with other family members, friends and colleagues of the late DPR Head.

“We always remember Sasha, he is our son, it’s painful that he is gone,” the father, Vladimir Zakharchenko said.

He said they will celebrate the birthday with family members and Zakharchenko’s friends and colleagues who knew him at school, college or fought together with him.

Vladimir Zakharchenko told DAN that one of his grandsons, Sergey, is married, the two others, Vladimir and Anatoliy, have graduated from schools and want to enlist with security forces. They are going to move to Moscow and pass exams there.

DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko won the DPR Head election on November 2, 2014. Major General, he was injured several times during the war, and was awarded the Golden Star of the Republic’s Hero and other awards. He died in an explosion in central Donetsk on August 31, 2018. The 2nd department of the 5th directorate for counterintelligence of the Ukrainian security service has been identified as complicit in the murder.*ot
